Consumer Advisory Committee - CAC
The purpose of the STEP CAC is to talk about STEP services, give input about STEP, policies, training, philosophy and employees, provide updates – what’s actually happening, and educate people. Members of the CAC should be a STEP consumer, have a developmental disability, able to participate and communicate with assistance, and able to understand information with assistance. People can be nominated for the CAC or express their interest and then attend two meetings in a row. The CAC will then vote on membership.
