Consumer Advisory Committee- CAC
The purpose of the STEP CAC is to talk about STEP services, give input about STEP, policies, training, philosophy and employees, provide updates – what’s actually happening, and educate people. Members of the CAC should be a STEP consumer, have a developmental disability, able to participate and communicate with assistance, and able to understand information with assistance. People can be nominated for the CAC or express their interest and then attend 2 meetings in a row. The CAC will then vote on membership.
