In this position, the SLS Coordinator is responsible for all required paperwork and reports surrounding the development of the client. Administering client assessments, developing, and following a consistent training schedule of SLS skills are essential in this position. This position also requires that the coordinator supervise Personal Attendants. The consumers they serve generally require 24 hour a day assistance. This position also involves on-call emergency response. Supervisory experience is beneficial. Full time positions are salaried. Persons in this position are also required to successfully pass a Supervisor Training Course provided by our Agency.
Requirements:
Must successfully pass background check and pre-employment drug screening test, high-school or GED required, one year experience with Developmental Disabilities or related field , or college degree in related field required, previous supervisory experience preferred, computer literacy preferred, medications administration preferred, ability to read and write English in order to perform essential duties, may need to have sign language/ASL skills,must possess valid California Driver’s License and current auto insurance, basic math skills, possess ability to lift up to 50 pounds, ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, ability to push, pull mobility devices, ability to kneel, crouch, squat, crawl, twist upper body, and run, and ability to provide intervention during crisis situations.
